(Nov. 21) Emory University's Amy DiBianca finished 51 out of 215 runners at the NCAA Division III national championships. This was her second appearance at the nationals.

DiBianca was Emory's sole represent, having won a spot with her fifth-place-finish at the NCAA Division III regionals the previous weekend. She ran the 6,000 meter course in 22 minutes and 45 seconds, beating her time at last season's nationals by more than 30 seconds. DiBianca also finished seven positions higher this year than she did at nationals last year.

DiBianca's 6k time was her personal best, and the fourth fastest in Emory University history. She defeated 90 runners from nationally ranked Division III schools.


(Nov. 15) Emory University's Amy DiBianca has earned a spot in the NCAA Division III national championships. She did so by placing fifth out of 144 runners at the NCAA Division III regionals. Her finish helped the Eagles take second place at the regionals.

DiBianca ran the 6000-meter course in 23 minutes and 37 seconds, her fourth best six-kilometer time, and the 19th best six-kilometer time in Emory history. DiBianca's finish was two places higher than her finish at last season's regionals.

For finishing in the top 25, DiBianca has made the all-region team. This is the second time that she has earned this honor.


(Nov. 1) Emory University's Dorothy Boone finished third out of 74 runners at the University Athletic Association championships. This is her highest career finish at the UAA championships. For her finish in the top seven, Boone made the all-conference first team. This is the third time she has been honored as an all-conference athlete. Boone was the top finisher for Emory for the first time this season. Her time for the 6000-meter course was 23 minutes and 45 seconds, beating her previous best UAA championships time by 20 seconds. Boone's finish helped the Eagles take second place defeating six other teams.


(Oct. 25) Asha Natarajan finished third out of 31 runners at the Oglethorpe Fall Classic. Her finish helped lead the Eagles to a first-place victory beating six other teams. Natarajan's time of 21 minutes and 14 seconds beat her previous top time by more than a minute. This is her highest finish of the season.


(Oct. 18) Emory University sophomore Amy DiBianca finished 10th out of 104 runners at the Winthrop Classic. This is the fourth meet this season she has finished among the top 10 runners overall. She finished third for the Eagles in the 4,000-meter race with a time of 15 minutes and 23 seconds. This is the third consecutive meet DiBianca has finished third for Emory.


(Oct. 11) Freshman Lauren Shores finished 27th out of 233 runners at the Furman Invitational to help Emory University to a fourth-place finish at the meet. Shores' time of 19 minutes and 25 seconds is her second-fastest time of the season, and a five-second improvement on her season average for the 5,000-meter race. Shores has finished in the top 30 in each of her first five collegiate races. The Eagles are the 19th ranked team in the nation.


(Oct. 4) Emory University captain Dorothy Boone completed the NCAA Division III pre-nationals in 11th place among a field of 167 runners. Boone finished the race ahead of 35 runners from nationally ranked Division III schools.

Boone ran the six-kilometer race in 23 minutes and four seconds. This was a 58-second improvement over her time at last season's pre-nationals. Boone's time was her third-best six-kilometer time ever, and the eighth fastest in the team's history. The Eagles came in third place out of 22 teams at the meet, beating a nationally ranked school.


(Sept. 20) Crossing the finish line for the third week in a row as the No. 1 runner for Emory University, Angela Davie finished third overall in a field of 95 runners at the Clemson Invitational. Davie ran a time of 18 minutes, 31 seconds on the five-kilometer course, and finished ahead of 66 NCAA Division I runners. Davie holds the Emory University record for the most career races (12) under 19 minutes. The Eagles finished first at the invitational, defeating eight Division I teams.


(Sept. 13) For the second time in as many weeks, Angela Davie crossed the finish line as the first-place runner for Emory University. The senior placed fifth among 94 non-Division I runners at the Georgia State University Invitational with a time of 18 minutes and 45 seconds on a five-kilometer course. Her finish this year was two positions higher than her seventh-place finish at the invitational last season. Davie was an all-region, all-conference, and all-state athlete honoree last season.


(Sept. 7) For the third consecutive season, Angela Davie crossed the finish line as the No. 1 runner for Emory University. The senior placed third out of 155 runners at the season-opening University of the South (Tenn.) Invitational. She was timed in 18 minutes and 59 seconds for the 8,000-meter course, nine seconds faster than her time on the same course a year earlier. The time also was the second fastest ever by an Eagle on the first weekend of September. Last season, Davie was an all-region, all-conference and all-state honoree.
