If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended:
That you have slumbered here,
While these visions did appear
-Robin Goodfellow A Midsummer Night’s Dream

EPILOGUE
The barren boughs of autumn beckoned our dreams.
The reverie of March we revered and held high.
Months marred us in between.
I with my final phrasing on this stage, do make amends:
What will amend the pain of a disappointing season?
What will amend the pain of a naked ring finger and a banner-less rafter?
What will amend the pain of a goal stated yet remaining unaccomplished?
These are but shadows of a team,
And to posterity do not scream.
Now turn to the everlasting aspects of a team,
Those that whisper carpe diem.
I speak of images that through ages last
And reveal young men that are steadfast.
And when we separate and find these similar trials on us again descend,
On my Emory teammates will I interminably depend.
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends.
Exeunt
