(June 11) Former Emory University baseball standout David Hissey was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 50th round of the Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft on Thursday.

THREE EAGLES NAMED TO ABCA ALL-SOUTH REGION TEAMS
(May 22) Three members of the Emory University baseball team earned all-South Region honors, as outfielder David Hissey and pitcher Zeb Heidt were named to the second team, and first baseman Steve Bralver was placed on the third team, as selected by the American Baseball Coaches Association.

COHN AND RYCKMAN NAMED TO THE COSIDA BASEBALL ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAM
(May 7) Two members of the Emory University baseball team were honored for their performance both in the classroom and on the field, as shortstop Andrew Cohn was named to the ESPN The Magazine/ CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team, and pitcher Matt Ryckman was named to the second team.
