(Mar. 24) - Emory University senior Spiros Ferderigos (Oldsmar, FL) has been recognized by National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for his outstanding 2007-08 season by earning a berth on the organization’s All-District team.

(Nov. 17) -- The Emory University men's basketball team came out on the short end of a 72-64 decision to UT-Tyler on Saturday in the opening game of the Lon Varnell Classic hosted by the University of the South.

Leading the Emory offensive attack was senior Spiros Ferderigos with 22 points and six rebounds. Sophomore Dan Curtin totaled 10 points while sophomore Anthony Fernandez finished with nine points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Emory will play host South on Sunday afternoon in a 1:00 pm start (CST).

(Jan. 26) - Carnegie Mellon junior Geoff Kozak’s basket with 16 seconds left in overtime helped propel the Tartans to a 71-70 decision over Emory University Friday evening at Skibo Gym on the CMU campus.  The loss dropped Emory’s record to 7-9 overall, 1-5 in the University Athletic Association.
