(May 8) - Emory senior Kim Bandy socked a pair of home runs and totaled four RBIs while freshman Jessica Thomas hit a solo blast to spark Emory to a 6-0 win over Neumann College on Friday afternoon in NCAA Regional action in Salisbury, MD.
Bandy went 3-for-4 at the plate while Thomas, senior Liz White and junior Cassie Walsh all chipped in with two hits apiece as Emory totaled 13 safeties in the contest.
Freshman Bridget Holloway notched her 10th win in 11 decisions as she tossed the opening three innings, allowing four hits and striking out four.
The win raised Emory's record to 2-0 in regional play and to 32-10 overall. The Eagles will play on Saturday against either Lynchburg or Bridgewater at 2:00 p.m..

(Mar. 10) – Emory senior Kim Bandy hit a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to snap a 1-1 tie and propel the No. 8-ranked Eagles to a 9-1 victory over Rochester in the team’s second game of the UAA Tournament today in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

No. 8 EMORY SOFTBALL TOPS EMERSON AND HAVERFROD ON MONDAY
(Mar. 10) - The No. 8-ranked Emory softball team boosted its overall record to 15-1 after posting two victories on Monday. The Eagles defeated Emerson College, 12-1, in five innings before registering a 9-3 triumph over Haverfrod College. Both games were played at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla.
Freshman pitcher Kelsey Floyd started and picked up the win on the mound for the Eagles, tossing all five innings. Senior outfielder Alyson Moler went two-for-four at the plate with a home run and a double while senior Kim Bandy and junior Cassie Walsh rapped out three hits apiece with Bandy also collecting two RBIs.
Floyd also picked up the win against Haverford, this time in relief as she hurled 5 2/3 innings while fanning nine. Senior Carey Smith-Marchi recorded a pair of safeties and knocked in a pair of runs while Band slapped out a pair of hits while scoring twice.
Emory opens the UAA Tournament on Tuesday against Brandeis in a 10:00 a.m. contest.

(Mar. 9) - The No. 8-ranked Emory softball team raised its overall record to 13-1 after coming away with a pair of wins on Sunday. The Eagles topped The College of New Jersey, 5-0, before registering a 3-1 triumph over No. 6 Cortland State. Both contests were played at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla.
Senior pitcher Shanon Andersen earned the win in the first game, allowing just three hits while striking out 12. Sophomore Zara Louy and junior Jenna Lamoreaux helped provide offensive support with both players going two-for-three at the plate.
Andersen was credited with the win against Cortland State, tossing four innings before giving way to freshman Bridget Holloway who pitched the last three innings en route to earning the save. Sophomore Nicole Perez and senior Kim Bandy aided in the win with each collecting a pair of safeties as well as one RBI.

(May 9) - The Emory softball team saw its season come to an end Friday afternoon as it came out on the short end of a 3-0 verdict to Ursinus in NCAA Regional play in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Ursinus pitcher Lauren Davis kept the Emory bats in check, holding the Eagles to five hits while striking out six in earning the complete-game win. Junior Alyson Moler picked up two of Emory's safeties in the game. The Bears scored all their runs in the fourth inning on the strength of four hits along with one Emory fielding miscue.
Junior Shanon Andersen went the distance on the mound for Emory, allowing seven hits and fanning five. The loss was the Eagles's second in the double-elimination format and closed out their year at 29-12.

(May 5) -The Emory University softball team has earned the program’s third consecutive NCAA Tournament bid and will open postseason play as one of seven teams that will be competing in the Fayetteville, North Carolina, Regional which will be hosted by Methodist College. It is the Eagles’ seventh NCAA appearance in the last eight years.
Emory is seeded No. 4 in the double-elimination tourney and will take on No. 5 seed LaGrange College in its opening game on Thursday (May 8) at 10:00 a.m. The Regionals are slated to take place May 8-12. More information will be released later today.
Last season, Emory posted a 4-0 record in the Fayetteville Regional enabling it to advance to the Division III College World Series.

EMORY SOFTBALL TO PLAY IN GREENSBORO INVITATIONAL
(Mar. 20) – The Emory softball team (12-6), fresh off a win vs. Colorado College on Thursday, will play in the Greensboro College Invitational this Friday and Saturday (Mar. 21-22).
The Eagles will battle host Greensboro (9-7-2) at noon on Friday before battling No. 3-ranked Lynchburg (16-2) at 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, Emory will tangle with Lynchburg at 10 a.m., before meeting Greensboro at noon.
The Invitational will be held at the Springwood Athletic Complex in Burlington, NC.

(Mar. 19) – The Emory softball team pounded out 11 hits and pitchers Kathy Gordon and Shanon Andersen combined for a three-hit shutout as the Eagles posted a 4-0 win over Colorado College on Wednesday afternoon.
