FOUR-STAR RECRUIT ZAHRA DAWSON COMMITS TO EMORY WOMEN’S TENNIS
(May 1) High School senior Zahra Dawson has committed to play tennis for Emory University starting in the 2008-09 academic year. Dawson is rated as a four-star recruit by tennisrecruiting.net, and is the 121st-ranked senior in the Nation and second in the state of Maryland. She is currently a senior at Maret High School in Ft. Washington, Maryland.
NASH & ROGERS SELECTED TO THE 2008 NCAA DIVISION III WOMEN’S TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS
(Apr. 30) Emory University’s Tshema Nash and Sabra Rogers have been selected to the field of competitors at the 2008 NCAA Division III Women’s Individual and Doubles Championships. Nash and Rogers will compete together in the field of 16 doubles teams, and Nash will compete individually in the field of 32 singles players.

NASH NAMED UAA MVP; SEVEN EAGLES EARN ALL-UAA WOMEN’S TENNIS HONORS
(Apr. 25) Emory University is well represented on the 2008 All-University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Tennis Team, as seven different Eagles earned first team all-UAA honors, and sophomore Tshema Nash was named the UAA’s Most Valuable Player. In addition, Emory head coach Amy Bryant and assistant coach Meredith Vincent were named the UAA’s Coaching Staff of the Year.
