EMORY MEN’S AND WOMEN’S TENNIS TEAMS TO BE FEATURED ON CBS NCAA SPRING HIGHLIGHTS SHOW
(July 2) – The Emory University men’s and women’s tennis programs will be featured on CBS when the network airs its NCAA Spring Championship Highlights Show this Saturday (July 4) at 2:00 p.m.

LORNE MCMANIGLE EARNS NOMINATION FOR THE HONDA DIVISION III ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD
(May 27) Lorne McManigle, of the Emory University women’s tennis team, has been nominated as a candidate for the 2008-09 Division III Athlete of the Year, to be presented at the Collegiate Women Sports Awards in June.

EMORY’S MEREDITH VINCENT NAMED ITA REGIONAL ASSISTANT COACH OF THE YEAR
(May 27) Emory University assistant women’s tennis coach Meredith Vincent has been named the Women’s Tennis Assistant Coach of the Year for the Atlantic South Region, by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

(May 9) Emory University advanced to the third round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships with a 5-0 win over Agnes Scott College on Saturday. The Eagles will play #5 Washington and Lee University on Sunday at 12:30 PM.
The Eagles swept the doubles matches and received singles victories from Lorne McManigle and Tshema Nash to clinch the match. The other four singles matches were not completed.
Emory improved to 19-4 with the win, while Agnes Scott dropped to 14-2. Should the Eagles earn a victory tomorrow, Emory will advance to the NCAA quarterfinals in Lawrenceville, GA.
EMORY WOMEN’S TENNIS TO FACE AGNES SCOTT COLLEGE ON SATURDAY
(May 8) The Emory University women’s tennis team (18-4), ranked third in the nation, will open up its NCAA Tournament run against Agnes Scott College (14-1) on Saturday at 10:00 AM. The Scotties, also from Atlanta, defeated Grove City College 5-4 in the opening round of the tournament, while the Eagles received a first-round bye. Emory last faced Agnes Scott on April 4, 2008, coming away with a 9-0 win.
FOUR EAGLES SELECTED TO COMPETE AT THE NCAA DIVISION III WOMEN’S TENNIS SINGLES AND DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIPS
(May 7) Emory University sophomore Lorne McManigle and freshman Zahra Dawson were selected to the field of 32 players at the NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Singles Championships, while the Eagles’ pairing of juniors Tshema Nash and Sabra Rogers were selected as one of the 16 teams in the doubles bracket.

(Apr. 30) Following its 22nd-consecutive conference championship, five members of the Emory University women’s tennis team were named to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) team.
