Emory University Elite Residential Camp
Frequently Asked Questions

EVALUATION
Players at the Emory Elite Residential Camp will be given a written, detailed evaluation of their performances.

HOUSING
Housing will be in their air-conditioned Alabama Hall, on Emory University's main campus. You will be charged $60 for a lost room key and $25 for a lost entrance key.

MEALS
Meals will be served at the Dobbs University Center. The first meal will be dinner on the first day and the last meal will be breakfast on the final day of camp.

MONEY
You may wish to bring extra money for the camp snack bar, and campers may wish to order pizza for a late-night snack. A camp bank will be available.

COMMUTER
Any overnight commuters should arrive each morning at the main soccer field by 8:45 a.m. You will stay on campus until the evening match is over at approximately 8:15 p.m. or longer if in a camp all-star match.

TRANSPORTATION
The airport is located in the southwest section of the city, approximately 25 minutes from the Emory University campus. Best flight times are arriving by 11:00 a.m. on the first day and after 2:00 p.m. on the last day of camp. There will be a shuttle available for campers coming from and going to the airport. The cost of the shuttle is $10 each way. Please fill out and mail the shuttle application and a check with your camp application.

  • An adequate amount of soccer clothes (shorts, shirts, socks, indoor & outdoor shoes, guards) for the week
  • A soccer ball
  • An alarm clock

  • A blanket
  • A pillow
  • A swimsuit
  • Personal toiletries
  • Sunscreen
  • Leisure clothes
