My most memorable athletic moment was: Finishing the 2007 Walt Disney World Marathon

My most memorable Emory athletic moment: Hearing Tracey Summa yell, “Yeah, Kat!” at the top of her lungs during the last out of our game against John Carroll freshmen year.

What I like most about Emory: I can be involved in a lot of things and still be a varsity athlete.

I would like to switch places for the day with: Cinderella

The best thing about being part of the Emory Softball Team is: Bus rides and bullpen conversations

My favorite place on the Emory campus: Lullwater Park

Favorite pro athlete: Andruw Jones, John Smoltz

The sports teams I followed when I was younger: Atlanta Braves, Dallas Cowboys

Favorite Sporting Event to Watch: The Great Outdoor Games, World’s Strongest Man Competition, the skeleton in the Winter Olympics

My favorite class at Emory and why: Dr. Neill, Psyc 323 Drugs and Behavior

The people who have helped me most at Emory are and why: The softball seniors who graduated my freshmen year because they are some of the greatest people I know and their wisdom continues to help me everyday even though they are no longer here at Emory.

Any pre-game rituals: Not really, sometimes the “Phoebe” run

The sport I would be playing if I wasn’t playing softball: I would run as many marathons as possible

Ten years from now I see myself: 30, and still young at heart :)  

If I could have dinner with only three people in history, they would be: Jesus Christ, Abraham Lincoln, Walt Disney……with Beethoven playing piano in the background

The best advice I have ever been given and who gave it to you: “Stay Alert, Stay Alive”- my dad

What is something that very few, if any, people know about you: I wake up at 6:30 am every morning to watch the sun come up.
