Senior (2004):
In his first season as a starter, Zaychik
won six games in 2004, twice as many as he had in his previous two
seasons combined, and was named all-conference second team. At the
conference tournament, Zaychik earned a win in his one start, allowing
one earned run in 7.2 innings while striking out seven. On the season,
his 56 strikeouts tied for the team lead.
Junior (2003):
Zaychik posted a 0.68 ERA over 26.1 innings
and 16 appearances. He earned a 1-0 record and notched 14 strike
outs.
Sophomore (2002):
Zaychik pitched 15.2 innings in 11 appearances
for the Eagles. He earned a 2-0 record and one save for the season,
posting a 2.30 ERA and 11 strikeouts.
