Junior (2006):

Baum competed in 32 contests for the Eagles, finishing with a hitting percentage of .343.  He had 35 hits on the season to go with 31 RBI.  He also scored 30 runs, including three homeruns.  He also collected 10 doubles.  Baum batted .500 three different times this season, including a 3-4 performance versus Lewis and Clark University (Ore.) on Feb. 19, where he recorded four RBI and scored two runs.  He also recorded four RBI against Oglethorpe University (Ga.) on March 2 and Methodist College (N.C.) on April 23.

Sophomore (2005):

Baum earned an honorable mention for the all-region team, his first such honor. He stood out in the University Athletic Association (UAA) tournament, earning second team all-conference honors. In five UAA games, he batted .471 with one homerun and five RBIs. Against Case Western Reserve University (Ohio), Baum went 4-for-5, picking up two doubles, a homerun and three RBI. The sophomore catcher was named the team's Most Improved Player. He led the team in on base percentage (.443) and was second on the team in batting average (.343), home runs (3) and slugging (.515).

Freshman (2004):

Baum played in 20 games, 12 of them starts, and batted .308 (12-for-39). He slugged .538 and knocked in 12 runs, the most among Emory’s freshmen. He went 3-for-4, including a triple and a double, with 4 RBI against Edgewood (Wis.) March 21.
