Beasley appeared in 21 games in his first season as a member of the Emory baseball team, batting .242.  He had eight hits on the season, including seven RBI and five runs scored.  Against Maryville College (Tenn.) on March 4, recorded his first home run as an Eagle.

Attended Villanova University, where he played on the baseball team for two seasons... Played on the St. Albans High School for four seasons...
