Senior (2007):

Ganzer put together the best season of his career for the Eagles in 2007, including one of the gutsiest pitching performances in school history.  Pitching on just two days rest, Ganzer went nine innings for the Eagles in the NCAA Championship Game against Kean University (N.J.), receiving a no decision while striking out eight batters.  He led all pitchers at the Championship tournament with 16 innings pitched and 15 strikeouts.  In his four starts during the Eagles’ postseason run, Ganzer went 1-0 with a 3.14 earned run average and 24 strikeouts in 28.2 innings pitched.  He was one of three Eagles named to the All-NCAA South Regional Tournament team, after going 1-0 with a 3.55 ERA and nine strikeouts in two starts.  Ganzer finished the season with a 2.45 earned run average (89th in Division III), an 8-1 record (the 32nd-most wins in Division III) and 95 strikeouts (10th in Division III).  His 8.3 strikeouts per nine innings was the 96th-best ratio in the nation during the year.  Ganzer pitched eight innings of one-hit shutout baseball with nine strikeouts on March 24th against Piedmont College (Ga.).  He opened his season with a complete-game victory against Methodist University (N.C.) on February 18th, and pitched seven scoreless innings while striking out 10 batters against Maryville College (Tenn.) on April 24th.  Ganzer finished his Emory career with a 19-8 record and a 2.82 earned run average.  His 218 career strikeouts are the seventh-most in school history.

Junior (2006):

As a pitcher, Ganzer appeared in 17 games and started nine.  He finished the season with an ERA of 2.22, while recording 74 strikeouts.  Ganzer went 6-3 on the season, while also recording two saves.  Recorded a season-high 10 strikeouts on two difference occasions, against Maryville College (Tenn.) on March 5 and the University of Rochester (N.Y.) on March 15.  Was named first team All-UAA.

Sophomore (2005):

Ganzer earned a spot on the all-conference first team in his first year at Emory. The sophomore finished second in strikeouts among all pitchers, fanning nine batters in 10 innings. He held opponents to a .143 batting average and did not issue a walk en route to a 2.70 earned run average in the tournament. Ganzer finished the season first on the team in wins, strikeouts and opponents batting average and third in ERA. He made 11 relief appearances and five starts. On April 13 against The University of the South (Tenn.), he gave up one run in nine innings while recording 10 strikeouts, tied for fifth-most in school history.
