Freshman (2007):

Carroll played in 22 games for the Eagles during his freshman campaign, finishing the season with a .364 average.  He recorded an RBI double in his first collegiate at bat, against York College (Pa.) on February 25th.  The outfielder picked up a season-best two hits against Case Western Reserve University (Ohio) on March 16th at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Tournament.

Prior to Emory:

Attended T.C. Williams High School, where he played on the baseball team for five years... Served as team captain during his senior year... Hit .330 with five homeruns and 21 runs batted in during 2005, and .400 with 17 runs batted in and one homerun during 2006... Named to the all-District first team and the co-most valuable hitter in 2006... Coached by Scott Grossi... Also played golf and swam in high school.
