Attended the Peddie School, where he played for four seasons on the baseball team, serving as the team's captain during his junior and senior seasons... Named to the All-Prep A State First team in 2007, and the Second Team in 2005 and 2006... Batted .408 with four home runs, and struck out 64 batters in 36 innings during his senior season... Helped his team to a Prep A State Championship in 2005, and a second-place finish at the state championship in 2006... Was coached by Erik Treese in high school, and also participated in crew and wrestling.
