Junior (2007):
Edelman was named an honorable mention to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) team for his performance as part of the Emory defense during the 2007 campaign. He was one of just three players to start all 19 games for Emory during the season, helping Emory to a 0.67 team goals against average and nine shutouts. Edelman helped the Eagles outscore their opponents 58-13, and hold a 146-57 advantage in shots on goal in 2007. His 37 consecutive-game starting streak is the longest active streak by an Emory player. Edelman also contributed career bests with one goal and four assists during the season, including game-winning assists against Guilford College (N.C.) and Carnegie Mellon University (Pa.).
Sophomore (2006):
Edelman started all 17 games for Emory’s defense during the 2006 campaign. He was a key member of the Eagles’ backfield, which compiled a 0.93 goals against average and seven shutouts during the year. The sophomore picked up his only point of the year against Piedmont College (Ga.), assist on a goal during a 3-0 Emory victory. Edelman was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District second team for his performance both on and off the field.
Freshman (2005):
Edelman appeared in 16 games for the Eagles, starting four of them as a freshman. He was part of an Emory defense that had the ninth-highest shutout percentage in Division III soccer, the 16th-best team goals against average and broke a school record by shutting out 14 of its 19 opponents. Edelman helped the Eagles defeat LaGrange College (Ga.) 8-0, picking up two assists in the game. Edelman took one shot on goal during the season.
