Senior Richard Kinnett became the third individual in school history to earn All-America honors in three individual events in one year. Kinnett placed second in the 1650-yard freestyle at the national championships, the fourth consecutive year that he has finished in the top-eight in that event. He is one of three individuals in school history to earn All-America honors in the same event for four years. Kinnett also finished fifth in the 500-yard free and eighth in the 400-yard individual medley. Kinnett broke school records in the 1000- and 1650-yard freestyle events. He was sixth on the team out of 32 competitors in points scored in dual and championship meets.

Junior (2002-03):

Kinnett, a junior, earned two All-America certificates from a sixth-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley and a fourth-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle at the NCAA championships. He has a total of five All-America honors in his career. He was named a national Swimmer of the Week by collegeswimming.com after winning the 1650 freestyle at the conference championship with an NCAA automatic qualifying time. Kinnett was honored once as a conference Athlete of the Week and twice as an Emory Athlete of the Week. This season, he broke the school record in the 500-, 1000-, and 1650-yard freestyle events. Kinnett holds five of the fastest 10 swims in school history in the 1650-yard freestyle. Kinnett finished third among the team's 32 competitors for most points earned in dual and championship meets.

Sophomore (2001-02):

Kinnett, a sophomore, finished sixth in the 1650-yard freestyle and seventh in the 400-yard individual medley at NCAA nationals. He earned an All America certificate in the 1650 freestyle for the second year in a row. Kinnett is the second Eagle in school history to gain All America recognition in that event. His time after the first 1000 yards of his mile broke the school record for the 1000-yard freestyle event. Kinnett holds five of the top 10 fastest times in school history in the 1650 freestyle.

Freshman (2000-01):

Just five months after a bout of mono, Kinnett broke the UAA record, swam the second-fastest time in Emory history and became just the second Eagle to earn All-America honors in the longest swimming event, the 1650-yard freestyle. Kinnett earned honorable mention All-America recognition with an 11th place finish in the 400-yard individual medley. In addition to the 1650, the freshman is also the second-fastest individual in the 400 IM and the 1000-yard freestyle, and the seventh-fastest Eagle ever in the 500-yard freestyle.
