Senior (2004-05):

Black, a senior, finished 21st out of 40 competitors on the team in points scored in dual and championship meets this season. Black holds the 12th fastest time in Emory history in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Junior (2003-04):

Black, a junior, earned two All-America certificates by swimming the breaststroke legs on the 200- and 400-yard medley relays. Black's times in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events at the Miami (OH) Invitational were the fastest on the team this season. Black is the fourth-fastest individual in school history in both breaststroke events. He finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke at the conference championships. Black was seventh on the team out of 32 competitors in points scored in dual and championship meets.

Sophomore (2002-03):

Black finished 10th out of 32 swimmers and divers for the most points earned in dual and championship meets. In the UAA Championships, he finished fifth in the 100 breastroke (59.05) and second in the 200 breastroke (2:06.62).
