Earned letters twice as a member of the Montgomery Bell Academy Track and Field team... Recorded career-best times of 10:19 in the 3,200-meter run and 4:44 in the 1,600-meter run during his senior season... Was coached by Robert Kenneth Pruitt... Also ran cross country in high school, earning three letters and serving as the team captain during his senior season.
