Sophomore (2007):
Successful sophomore campaign that ended with a singles record of 22-6, the second-highest win total on the squad ... Played singles spots two through five ... Recorded a 7-1 mark at No. 5, 4-2 at No. 4, 3-2 at No. 3 and 3-0 at No. 2 ... Went 5-1 at the ITA Regionals and advanced to the championship match against teammate Michael Goodwin ... Posted wins at No. 5 singles over Andre Thompson of Middlebury in the NCAA semifinals.

Freshman (2006):
Boren’s freshman season saw him finish 19-5 on the season in singles, participating in positions four through six.  He finished 6-3 at No. 4, 2-0 at No. 5 and 8-1 at No. 6, while also going 3-1 in ITA events during the fall.  Boren also helped Emory to the UAA Championship, going 3-0 in his matches.  In doubles play he finished 13-6, highlighted by going 6-2 with Michael Goodwin during ITA play.  The two won the South Region and finished sixth at the ITA Championships, earning All-America honors. Named first team All-UAA at No. 6 singles and second team for No. 3 doubles.

Prior to Emory:
Played for three years on the Cherry Creek High School tennis team... Was the number two singles player for two seasons... Was coached under the leadership of Kirk Price.
