Senior (2003-04):
Senior Beth Byron played in all 25 games
this season, averaging 5.1 points per game and finishing second
in three point field goals (33). She scored her season high of 14
points on February 24th in a win over LaGrange College (GA). Byron
finished her Emory career by ranking third in career three-point
field goals and sixth in scoring.
Junior (2002-03):
Beth Byron finished fourth on the team
in scoring. She was second on the team in total three-point field
goals. Her free throw percentage of 75.0 ranked her second on the
team. Byron led the team in scoring in five games, including a season-high
17 points in a 79-68 win over Wesleyan (Ga.). She received honorable
mention from the University Athletic Association for the second
consecutive year.
Sophomore (2001-02):
Started 23 of 25 games for the Eagles.
Averaged 12.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Had
a season-high 31 points against Wesleyan College (Ga.) on November
20. Also had a season-high six rebounds against Wesleyan College
(Ga.) on November 20. Had a season-high five assists against University
of the South on January 8. Had a season-high four steals against
Wesleyan (Ga.) on November 20. Named to the Centre College (Ky.)
All-Tournament Team.
Freshman (2000-01):
Started 14 of 25 games. Averaged 9.6 points,
1.9 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game. Had a season-high 20 points
against Johns Hopkins on December 1. Had a season-high seven rebounds
at Oglethorpe University (Ga.) on December 9. Had a season-high
four steals against Carnegie Mellon on January 3. Had a season-high
four assists twice. Won the team Coaches’ Award. Earned Honorable
Mention All-UAA honors.
