Senior (2003-04):
Senior Stephanie Seibert was named to the
all-University Athletic Association second team, making it her fourth
consecutive year to receive end-of-the-season recognition from the
UAA. She ranked first in rebounds and second in blocked shots in
conference play. Seibert was named the team's Most Oustanding Player.
She averaged 12.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 1 block per game, all
team highs. Seibert recorded nine "double-doubles" for
the season, an achievement surpassed by only four other players
in Emory history. Her season high of 24 points helped the team defeat
Carnegie Mellon on February 2nd. Seibert finished her Emory career
by ranking second in career points, field goals, rebounds, and blocked
shots.
Junior (2002-03):
Stephanie Seibert led the Eagles in scoring
(12.1 points per game), rebounding (6.6 rebounds a game), field
goals made (121), free throws made (61), and free throw percentage
(84.7). She led the team in scoring eight times this season and
was the leading rebounder 13 times. Her 84.7 percent mark from the
foul line is the second-highest single-season percentage ever at
Emory. For the season, Seibert finished with 302 total points, placing
her 13th on the Emory single-season scoring list. It was the second
time in three seasons that she has eclipsed the 300-point mark,
becoming the fifth Eagle to accomplish the feat. Seibert has led
the team in scoring all three seasons. She eclipsed the 1,000-point
mark for her career, becoming the fourth Eagle ever and second fastest
to the mark (73 games). For the third straight season, Seibert’s
play was recognized by the UAA. After making the all-conference
second team as a freshman and the first team as a sophomore, she
received honorable mention this season.
Sophomore (2001-02):
Started all 25 games for the Eagles. Averaged
15.4 points, the seventh highest average ever by an Eagle, and 7.3
rebounds per game. Had a season-high 25 points against Rochester
on December 3. Had a season-high 13 rebounds at Case Western Reserve
on February 23. Had a season-high four steals at the University
of the South (TN) on December 9. Had a season-high three assists
against Piedmont College (Ga.) on December 1. Had a season-high
three blocks against Savannah College of Art & Design (Ga.)
on January 30. For the season, scored 386 points, the sixth highest
single season total ever by an Eagle. Selected by the team as Most
Outstanding Player. Earned First-Team All-UAA honors.
Freshman (2000-01):
Started 19 of 25 games. Averaged 13.4 points
and 4.6 rebounds per game. Had a season-high 29 points against Rochester
on February 2. Had a season-high 14 rebounds at Rochester on January
21. Had a season-high three steals four times. Had a season-high
two blocks four times. Selected as the NCAA Division III South Region
Player of the week for January 15-21. Recognized as the UAA Rookie
of the Year. Earned Second-Team All-UAA honors.
