Junior (2007):

Lam was a key piece to the Emory defense in 2007, and was named to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) first team, marking the second-consecutive season she earned all-conference honors.  The junior led a defense that recorded 13 shutouts and a 0.48 goals against average for the season, the 11th-best mark in the country.  Lam helped Emory hold their opponents to just over three shots on goal per match, and outscore teams 47-10 during the season.  She also contributed on the offensive end, scoring a career-best four goals, including one game-winning goal coming during the Eagles’ 9-0 win over the University of the South (Tenn.).  Lam had a two-goal game during Emory’s 7-0 win over Agnes Scott College (Ga.).  She started all 19 games she played in for the Eagles during the campaign, and was twice named a UAA Athlete of the Week.  Lam was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District first team for her performances both on the field and in the classroom.

Sophomore (2006):

Lam was named an All-University Athletic Association honorable mention, after transferring from Middlebury College (Vt.) at the start of the year.  Lam started all 17 games for Emory, helping to anchor a defense that recorded a 0.98 goals against average and nine shutouts during the season.  The sophomore defender recorded her lone assist of the season in a 7-1 win over Reinhardt College (Ga.).  She took eight shots during the season, three of which were on goal.

Transferred from Middlebury College after her freshman year... Attended Milton Academy where she was a four-year member of the soccer team... Served as captain in 2004 ... Named to the Massachusetts All-State Team, Independent School League first team and her team's Most Valuable Player in 2004... Played for Geoff Theobald... Competed for her high school's basketball and softball teams ... Member of the Charles River United Soccer Club where she played for Ron Weeden.

Born on August 12, 1986... Twin sister is teammate Joyce Lam.
