Senior (2004-05):
The senior qualified for the national
meet for the third year in a row. Mavrodin earned All-America
honorable mention for the second consecutive year in the 200-yard
breaststroke, and also earned All-America honorable mention
for the 400-yard individual medley. She was the conference
champion in the 200-yard breaststroke, and earned all-conference
honors in the 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual
medley. Her performance in the 200-yard breaststroke at the
conference championships was the team's fastest time of the
season. She also had four of the team's top six times in the
event this season. She finished the season with nine provisional
qualifying times combined in the 200-yard breaststroke, 400-yard
individual medley and 200-yard individual medley. She graduates
with the third-best time in school history in the 400-yard
individual medley and fourth-best time in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Junior (2003-04):
Junior Julia Mavrodin earned All-America
recognition in the 400-yard individual medley at the national
championships for the second year in a row. She also received
All-America honorable mention honors in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Mavrodin finished second at the conference championships in
the 200 breaststroke. Her time was the fastest time on the
team in that event this season.
Sophomore
(2002-03):
Sophomore Julia
Mavrodin earned All-America honorable mention honors by finishing
14th in the 400-yard individual medley at the NCAA national
championships. She also placed 28th in the 200-yard breaststroke
and 31st in the 200-yard I.M. Mavrodin was 19th on the team
in points.
Freshman (2001-02):
Mavrodin earned All-America honors
by finishing third in the 400-yard individual medley and seventh
in the 200-yard individual medley at the NCAA national championships.
Her season-best times rank second in school history in the
400 IM, fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke and sixth in the
200 IM. Mavrodin was honored by the conference as both the
Swimmer of the Year and the Rookie of the Year. She won the
maximum three individual events (200 IM, 200 breast, 400 IM)
at the conference championships.
