Senior (2006-07):

Smith earned an all-America honorable mention for her performance in the 400-individual medley at the NCAA Championship meet.  She also earned all-University Athletic Association honors for her top-three finishes in the 200- and 400-individual medley at the association’s championship meet.  Smith was honored for her performance both in and out of the pool in 2007, as the senior received both an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship and a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-District team. Smith finished the season with 83 points during meets throughout the season.

Junior (2005-06):

Smith, a junior, earned three All-America certificates this season with her second place finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay, her fourth place finish in the 400-yard individual medley, and her sixth place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke competition.  She also earned an All-America Honorable Mention in the 200-yard individual medley. 

Sophomore (2004-05):

Smith earned her second career All-America honor in the 400-yard individual medley, where she finished fourth at the national championships. The sophomore received All-America honorable mention recognition in the 200-yard individual medley by finishing 10th in the nation. In school history, Smith is the sixth- and ninth- fastest individual respectively in the 200- and 400-yard individual medley events.

Freshman (2003-04):

Smith earned her first All-America honor as a member of the seventh-place 400-yard medley relay at the national championships. The freshman received All-America honorable mention recognition in the 200-yard individual medley by finishing 15th in the nation. Smith was conference champion in three events: 200-yard IM, 400-yard IM and 100-yard breaststroke. Her time of 2:09.02 in the 200 IM was the fastest time on the team this season and ranks her as the sixth-fastest individual in that event in school history.
