Junior (2005-06):
Zifkin, a junior, qualified for the NCAA Division III national championship again this season. At nationals she earned All-America Honorable Mention in three events. She received these honors for her 11th place finish in the 500-yard freestyle, her 13th place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle, and her 16th place finish in the 200-yard butterfly. Zifkin also earned the title of Conference Champion this season with her win in the 800-yard freestyle relay.
Sophomore (2004-05):
The sophomore earned All-America
honorable mention in both the 500-yard freestyle and 1650-yard
freestyle. She won the conference championship in the 1650-yard
freestyle, and was named all-conference in three events. She
attained national qualifying times in both the 500- and 1650-yard
freestyle. She finished 20th on the team out of 39 competitors
in points scored in dual and championship meets.
Freshman (2003-04):
Zifkin was voted the team's Most
Improved Performer. From the fall semester to the spring semester,
she improved her time by more than seven seconds in the 200-yard
freestyle, more than nine seconds in the 200-yard butterfly
and more than 24 seconds in the 500-yard freestyle. Zifkin
qualified for the NCAA national championships in the 1650-yard
freestyle where she finished 20th.
