Freshman (2006-07):

Murphy competed in the dive events for the Eagles during the 2006-07 season. The freshman was Emory’s top performer in the one-meter dive (six dives), recording a score of 288.08 at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. She finished fifth in the one-meter dive and ninth in the three-meter dive at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship meet. Murphy scored 109 points for the Eagles during the season, the 15th-best total on the squad.

Competed on the Amherst Regional High School swimming team for four seasons, serving as the captain of the team during her senior year... Was coached by Mary Ellen Clark and Mandy Hixon... Also played soccer for three years, and ultimate frisbee for four years during high school.
