Freshman (2006-07):

Westby led the Eagles and matched a school freshman-record with seven all-America certificates earned at the NCAA Championship meet, which is already the 13th-best career total in school history.  Her honors came in the 50-, 100-, and 200-freestyle events and as part of the Eagles’ 200-freestyle relay, 400-medley relay, 800-freestyle relay and 400-freestyle relay teams.  Westby became just the third Eagle freshman to earn three or more all-America honors in individual events.  She set school records in the 50-, 100-, and 200-freestyle at the NCAA Championship meet, and her time of 1:51.00 is the eighth-fastest in Division III history.  In addition, she helped the Eagles’ 200-freestyle relay, 400-freestyle relay and 800-freestyle relay teams each set school records.  Westby was part of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship 200-freestyle relay team, and earned all-UAA honors in a team-best four other events.  She scored 410.50 points in meets throughout the season, the second-best total by an Eagle during the campaign.
