Freshman (2005-06):

Van Norstdran began her career at Emory University with a couple great finishes including a 35.2 meter javelin toss good for first place at the Tiger Invitational.  In addition, Van Norstdran took second at the Emory Track Classic in shot put after recording a throw of 36-1.1/2.  At the Emory Invitational, she placed second in the shot put again after a throw of 37-5.3/4.
