once in singles and three times in doubles. This season, she and
teammate Carina Alberelli advanced to the finals of the NCAA doubles
championship and finished third in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association
(ITA) fall national doubles championship. As a result, the duo placed
second in the final ITA national doubles rankings. Moscato (and
Alberelli) broke a school record with 32 doubles wins this season.

total in Emory history, and her .889 singles win percentage is sixth
best on the Emory all-time list. She was voted to the all-conference
first team in singles and doubles for the third time (she was not
on the ballot in 2003 because she skipped the conference tournament
for a Medical College Admission Test). Moscato was voted the regional
winner of the Arthur Ashe Award, presented by the ITA for leadership
and sportsmanship. Moscato graduated with a 72-29 career singles
record, placing her 10th on the Emory all-time list for career singles
wins, and a 90-27 career doubles record, putting her in second place
in school history for career doubles wins.
Junior (2003):
Junior Margaret Moscato was selected to
play in the NCAA Division III singles national championship for
the second consecutive year. She finished the season with a 17-7
singles record, including 13-3 against opponents from NCAA Division
III national top-20 teams. Moscato was 34th in the final national
singles rankings for Division III. Moscato ranks 18th in school

The duo were sixth in the final national doubles rankings. The pair
finished with a season doubles record of 21-8 (.724 winning percentage),
including 18-3 against competition from NCAA Division III national
top-20 teams. Their doubles record places them 21st in school history
for season wins and 27th for season win percentage. Moscato ranks
ninth in school history in career doubles win percentage (.725)
and 13th for career doubles wins (58). She did not compete in the
conference championship in order to take the Medical College Aptitude

Advanced to the quarterfinals in the NCAA
national singles tournament. Named All-America singles. Named first
team all-UAA for both singles and doubles.

championship by upsetting the tournament's No. 6 seed before losing
to the No. 4 seed. Moscato was 11th in the final national ITA singles
rankings after not placing in the top 50 at the end of the fall
season. In doubles, she and Emily Warburg finished fourth in the
ITA national fall championships for Division III.
