Senior (2005):
The senior competed in the NCAA
championships for the first time in her career. She and doubles
partner Indu Anand won their match in the NCAA quarterfinals,
semifinals and finals. Together they had an 8-1 doubles record
with their only loss by a 9-8 (6) score in the NCAA quarterfinals.
Seven of their wins were against opponents from schools ranked
in the top 20 nationally. They were 12th in the final regional
doubles rankings compiled by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Junior (2004):
Compiled 4-1 record in singles,
including a 2-0 mark against opponents from teams ranked in
the top 20 nationally. Her only singles loss was in three
sets in the round of 16 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association
regional championships. Tiemeyer was a winner in straight
sets in her singles matches against opponents from teams ranked
No. 14 and 20 in the nation.
Sophomore (2003):
Sophomore Lindsay Tiemeyer finished
the season with a 11-1 singles record, including 6-1 against
opponents from NCAA Division III national top-20 teams. Tiemeyer
was named first-team all-conference at No. 6 singles, the
second consecutive year she has made the all-conference team
in singles. At the conference championships, she stepped in
at No. 6 singles due to a lineup change and won her matches
in the semifinals and finals. In the latter match, Tiemyer
was a 6-2, 6-3 winner to help Emory beat the No. 9 ranked
team in the nation and win its 16th consecutive conference
title.
Freshman (2002):
Tiemeyer broke into the singles lineup
for the Eagles late in the season just in time for the conference
championships where she went undefeated at the tournament.
She received second-team all-conference honors.
