Baseball player Kyle Foster (Class of 2003) was named the CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year in his sport. He was twice selected to the Academic All-America first team. Foster carried a 3.82 cumulative grade point average as a chemistry and computer science major. The Academic All-America program honors student-athletes who excel in both academics and athletics. Justin Gordon (Class of 2006) was named a CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2006, and earned a NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship for his performance both on the field and in the classroom.
