Emory Defeats Redlands 7-0 to Earn Final-Four Appearance

Memphis, TN---Defending NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Champion Emory University advanced to the semifinals of the 2004 NCAA tournament with a 7-0 win over Redlands (CA).

After Emory won all three doubles matches, play was suspended due to inclement weather and moved to the indoor courts of the Six50 Sports Complex in Memphis. Indoors, Emory continued to dominate, completely shutting Redlands out at all singles spots.

Emory (22-1) will now face Washington and Lee University (24-3), in a semifinal match slated for 10:00am on Thursday 5/13 at the Dunavant Tennis Center on the campus of Rhodes College (Memphis, TN). Redlands finishes the year at 12-10.
